Online therapy  has shown to have similar results to in-person therapy for many different issues. Your therapist will be able to provide the same space for you to process, share and explore. EMDR therapy can be conducted virtually.

HIPAA compliant teleconferencing and emails are used. The client is responsible for ensuring privacy at his/her location.

To have successful sessions, you must have access to a computer, tablet, or phone and a strong internet connection.

Our first session is all about getting to know each other! I want to know what brings you to therapy, what you hope to get out of it, and how I can help you.

Your first session will last anywhere from 45-60 minutes. We will spend this time getting to know each other. Each session thereafter will last 45-50 minutes and target your specific goals.

This question is a difficult one to answer. We will need to get to know each other better and identify your goals and objectives. I usually recommend planning for 3 – 6 months. Your timeframe could require more or less. Your commitment and work help therapy work better. Your history and goals help determine your timeframe.

Therapy sessions are limited to clients that currently reside in Texas, due to license restrictions. Therapy can not be conducted while on vacation out of Texas.

Unfortunately, no. I am a private-pay therapist and do not participate in any insurance network. I do not bill, communicate with, or accept payment from insurance companies.

Yes, I have a 24 hour cancellation policy. You can cancel or reschedule (depending on availability) an appointment if you provide at least 24 hours’ notice. If you cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, or fail to show up, you will be charged the full session fee. Exceptions are made for emergencies.

When you book a session, that time slot is reserved just for you. Frequent cancellations disrupts the treatment process. If you feel that you are unable to commit to your appointment time, we can explore alternatives.
